SWSOMS Cancels 2020 Combined Annual Meeting
April 16-18, Colorado Springs, CO

With a great deal of regret, the Southwest Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons has cancelled the 2020 Combined Annual Meeting scheduled for April 16-18, at The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs, CO. The SWSOMS Board of Directors made this decision after carefully considering the latest state and federal guidelines on the COVID-19 virus and the implications of the disease for the health and well-being of our members, exhibitors, presenters and guests.

The Broadmoor Hotel has been extremely helpful during this difficult time. They are cancelling all sleeping room reservations relating to the SWSOMS meeting.

The SWSOMS will also work with you to settle your exhibitor registration fees. Please consider the following two options:

Option #1: Authorize the SWSOMS to transfer all exhibitor fees and registrations to the 2021 Combined Annual Meeting, which will be held April 15-17, at the Monarch Beach Resort in Dana Point, California. By selecting this option, you will lock in your space and registration with a guarantee that your cost will NOT increase, even if the SWSOMS decides to increase its fees next year. [Note: This offer relates to the exhibitor booth space and registration fee only. It does not cover such optional events as the golf tournament, President’s Event or Companion Program.]

Option #2: A full refund of your booth and registration fees will be made on the credit card or other payment option used to make the initial reservation.

Please respond to this email or contact [email protected] and let us know which option you prefer.

The SWSOMS regrets and inconvenience you and your colleagues have experienced as a result of this cancellation. We thank you for your continued support of our Society and the oral and maxillofacial surgeons in the Southwest region. We look forward to seeking you next year in Dana Point, California.
